About Gelateria Luna

Gelateria Luna is a small artisan gelato shop. We make everything on site, in the kitchen behind the counter, using a short list of ingredients. The flavours at the counter change depending on the season and what is good at any given time.

We started offering classes because customers kept asking how things were made. The beginner gelato class and the sorbet workshop grew out of those conversations. Both are hands-on sessions in our kitchen, with small numbers so there is room to ask questions and make mistakes without it mattering.

The private tasting came about for similar reasons - some groups want to try a range of flavours and understand what goes into them, without the full making experience. It suits birthdays, small celebrations, and work outings equally well.

The kids' birthday party is exactly what it sounds like. Each child makes their own gelato at their own station, with guidance throughout, and takes it home in a tub. It is a practical, hands-on party that does not require a lot of setup on your part. You bring the cake if you want one; we handle the rest.

If you want to keep making gelato at home after a class, we sell a take-home kit at the counter, as well as larger portions of our daily flavours to take away. Everything available to buy in the shop is there because it is genuinely useful, not to fill a shelf.
